UCLA Luskin Events plans and manages school-wide events, including Orientation, Open House, and Commencement. We provide logistical and management support for select Dean’s, External Relations’, Departmental, and Student Events. UCLA Luskin Events plays an integral role in the planning and execution of various social events, seminars, conferences, and lectures. One of our most prominent events is the Meyer and Renee Luskin Lecture Series, which enhances public discourse on topics relevant to the betterment of society. The Series demonstrates UCLA Luskin’s commitment to encouraging innovative breakthroughs and creative solutions to formidable public policy challenges.
UCLA Luskin events bring together scholars as well as national and local leaders to address society’s most pressing problems. We encourage interactive, lively discourse across traditional divides between the worlds of research, policy and practice.
Room-Request-Guidelines
We hold monthly meetings to discuss upcoming events. It is encouraged that each department/unit have at least one representative in attendance to provide input and ensure their department’s interests are represented. If you would like to attend our meetings, contact Tammy Borrero at tborrero@luskin.ucla.edu. Agendas and notes from our events meetings can be found here.
